Front End Developer

The Role

We're looking for product-aware, hardworking, inquisitive, and responsible engineers to help build and deliver the best web experience to our customers. The ideal candidate is deeply entrenched in web development, with a passion for using the right tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient apps that best serve our customer base.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 6+ years of software development experience with proven proficiency in JavaScript, from a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry working experience
• 5+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Web applications using JavaScript or JavaScript MV* frameworks like Angular or React, supported by RESTful web services
• Verifiable experience using JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS/Express, CSS/HTML in a large, enterprise environment, preferably as part of a team of Web engineers
• Participated in the complete product life cycle of at least 1 externally / publicly available web application, from inception to launch using automated tooling like Jenkins, Gradle etc.
• Good understanding of HTTP based APIs, Networking and how the internet works.
• Understand Async code (Promises, Callbacks, Event Loops)
• JS Tooling (ESLint, Webpack , Grunt, Gulp) experience
• Comfortable with Visual Design & Rapid Prototyping
• Expert at one IDE of choice (VS Code, WebStorm)
• Experience with Node.js frameworks NPM, Express
• Automation Tools/Frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, Protractor) experience
• Advanced Git skills
