J-Six Enterprises is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to add to our financial team!

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced applicants that will ensure that our accounting information and practices are accurately reflected. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for gathering and verifying the accuracy of financial data through regular financial audits. It is important that our financial information complies with every professional and regulatory standard. As such, applicants should keep abreast of current best practices in accounting, as well as regulations in the agricultural field. We need our General Ledger Accountant to enter accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and other items regularly and accurately, and prepare financial statements and reports on both a scheduled and “as-needed” basis. Your daily responsibilities will include reconciling accounts with the general ledger, gathering supporting documentation for entries, and checking journal entries. You should be familiar with various accounting software and systems.

In addition to your accounting and financial skills, applicants for the General Ledger Accountant position should be detail-oriented, organized, and accurate. You will need to be a team player, able to work with our knowledgeable financial team. We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant who will collaborate with other internal departments to ensure accurate records. Good communication skills will be extremely important. You will be expected to work well with our team of accounting professionals to support budgeting, forecasting, and period end financial reporting.

All work will take place at our main corporate office in Seneca, KS. A single location will add an ease and familiarity to your work environment! We are not looking to fill this position in a remote or work-from-home environment.
