Primary Job Purpose

Achieve written annual store goals and support company mission & vision.

Job Duties

Depending on your location and role, some or all of the following will apply:

• Implement and enforce all company processes & policies
• Manage the store’s inventory, per the company policies and procedures
• Manage employee behavior per the company employee handbook; report serious or frequent violations to manager
• Enforce all safety policies & procedures; address all infractions and unsafe conditions immediately upon awareness
• Work with the Safety Director to remedy all unacceptable issues
• Maintain an appropriate quantity of safety supplies and equipment
• Hold monthly safety meetings with all employees
• Conduct safety orientation program with all new hires
• Coordinate with other store managers regarding personnel, inventory management, sales, vehicles and other issues
• Work with suppliers’ reps to achieve shared goals
• Work with suppliers’ reps to handle product adjustments
• Assist the manager in recruiting, interviewing and hiring new employees
• Depending on the org chart for the location, manage, coordinate work closely with the store’s administrators, service department, sales department and retread department
• Protect company assets
• Strive for customer service & satisfaction
• Open and close the store per company policy
• Be responsible for all keys
• Be responsible for working with the manager to create annual Goals and Project Plans
• Implement Project Plans, reporting progress as written in the Plan
• Conduct annual PAR and PDP meetings and 6-Month updates with all direct reports
• Approve weekly payrolls and forward to appropriate person
• Maintain/update I-Pad set-up, including price sheets, data books, etc.
• Maintain an acceptable level of accounts receivable, including working with CSRs to collect from accounts that are past-due
• Other tasks and functions as requested by the manager.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to lead direct and indirect reports toward the achievement of their goals
• Completely trustworthy, ethical, reliable and dependable
• Knowledge of the tire business strongly preferred: commercial and retail
• Customer-focused
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
