About the Role

This GM role should be self-motivated and results-driven to direct and manage Booster’s business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs.

As the General manager, your responsibilities will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.

Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives. Key Strategic Leadership Position with Multi-Site Responsibilities and Cross-Functional Oversight across Sales, Policy and Account Mgmt.

Build, empower, and lead a highly capable team, including service professionals and operation managers. Manage the P&L for each market in the region. Develop plans to improve performance and increase the health of the bottom line. Ensure each market has the appropriate staffing, equipment, and performance to meet company objectives. Provide world-class level service to both employees and customers.

What You Will Be Doing

What You Should Have

• 5+ years of experience as a general manager, regional director, or operations manager in an operationally intensive, low-margin (on-demand, warehouse, logistics/transportation) high growth environment
• College degree preferred
• Strong P&L experience in low margin business
• High EQ and people pattern recognition
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start, contribute under pressure and meet deadline
• Exude passion for all aspects of our mission: environmental stewardship, safety, sustainability and of course, time given back in life for what truly matters
