GRAPHIC DESIGNER / SIGN PRODUCTION

This is a Full Time Hands-On Position Designing, Producing & Installing Signage.

Work Schedule, Compensation & Perks:

Full Time (M-F 8:30am-5pm).

Hourly rate ($16-$22) commensurate with experience.

Paid Commission on Monthly Targets.

Paid Sick Time after 6 months of F/T employment.

One Week Paid vacation after 1 year of F/T employment.

OT and Seasonal Saturdays As Required.

Job Summary:

Signarama is in the business of designing, fabricating, selling, and installing high-quality signage of all types. You would be working in a creative and challenging environment. We are looking for a creative hardworking Graphic Designer/ Sign Producer with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to succeed. You will be expected to work closely with customers and practice good customer service. We are looking for someone who can multitask and use their time wisely. Experience in a sign shop is a plus+.

- Work with customers to design signs, banners, vehicle graphics, business cards, posters.
(Designing in Flexi Sign, illustrator & Photoshop)
- Send prints to large format printer.
- Cutting, weeding, taping and applying vinyl graphics to various substrates such as
corrugated plastic, foam boards, PVC, aluminum, acrylic.
- Ability to work with tools such as a hammer, drill, screwdriver, panel saw, jigsaw, knives, &
ladder.
- Installing signs and graphics out of the shop.

Skills Required:

AS/BS in Graphic Design (design experience considered).

Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop & MS Suite.

Knowledge of math and square footage calculations.

Read, interpret and complete work instructions.

This is a fast-paced job. You must be capable of working off of ladders and may even be working outdoors on some occasions. Using hand tools and some power tools is required.
