JOB SUMMARY:

This is not a remote position. This is for in office work only.

Graphic Designer located in Paducah, KY is responsible for creating and managing meeting brochures, external communications regarding activities and meetings for a non-profit organization. The person in this position will also be involved in online media and website. Great workplace environment!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for administration, content creation, and updates to the website.
• Track marketing data and website/social media analytics, analyze data, and creates reports for management.
• Create marketing materials, adhering to the society’s branding and messaging styles and standard marketing principles.
• Create unique content, such as ads, brochures, and videos.
• Assist with the Society’s online presence.
• Promote Society meetings both remote and virtual.
• Assist in other duties based on the Society’s needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in marketing, journalism, digital media, or similar field.
• Experience in social media management required.
• Experience using a website content management system (such as WordPress) required.
• Experience with video editing software.
• Experience in digital communications and digital marketing campaigns.
• Ability to work both within a team and independently.
• Extensive computer experience with standard office software, including Microsoft Office 365, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of marketing methods and procedures.
• Working knowledge of website content management systems.
• Ability to use social media technology.
• Advanced skill with design software - InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
