RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an opening for a full-time Systems Analyst to conduct strategy integration and implementation of Ridgeview's Electronic Health Record (EHR).

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years work experience in a clinical and/or information technology environment. Healthcare experience highly preferred. Ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to learn quickly, have strong oral and written communication, presentation skills, and enthusiastic customer service. Must be able to work effectively under pressure due to multiple calls, inquiries, projects, interruptions, and travel occasionally.

JOB DUTIES

Facilitates solution design, standards guidance, Electronic Health Record (EHR) strategy integration and implementation of efficient, high quality technology and applications systems. Analyzes work & data flow, and creates efficient and logical solutions. Plans, schedules, reviews, and performs analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of assigned technology and application systems. Participates in solution testing and documents clear and concise system descriptions that meet project requirements and departmental quality standards.

Collaborates with staff to resolve issues, works with software vendor(s) as needed to resolve issues and upgrades, and provides expert training to Ridgeview as needed. Develops reports, forms, custom configuration, interfaces, and output files from the EHR system as needed. Provisions user accounts within EHR and ensures user accounts have minimum access. Responsible for maintaining secure access of the EHR by authorized staff. Evaluates requests for programming and provides timetables for completion.

Collaborates with Director of Clinical Informatics & Utilization Review, leaders, and team members to develop efficient, cost-conscious technology and applications system specifications that maximize organizational performance.

Identifies ways of improving current services and consults with management on issues and problems. Ensure security, integrity, and privacy of Ridgeview data in conjunction with Ridgeview policies and procedures.
