The Landscape Management Group is seeking a full time horticulturist/project manager to start as soon as possible. This position involves working closely with senior staff to manage day to day maintenance of commercial landscapes. Duties include field monitoring of plant material, scouting for signs of insects pests or plant disease, and communication and oversight of landscape contractors.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in horticulture, landscape contracting, design/build, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of woody and herbaceous plant materials.
• Knowledge of insect pests and diseases.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office applications and iOS required.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent communication and team skills.
• Capacity to multitask and manage multiple short term projects at once.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

The Landscape Management Group (LMG) is a women owned small business. The partners of the firm have worked together since 1993 and are well respected in the industry.

We are not a contractor. We are a consulting firm of horticulturists and landscape architects that support real estate owners on the management of their landscape.

LMG’s clients include commercial, mixed-use, and multi-family residential properties in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
