Job Summary: To maintain HRIS systems (Ceridian) to support HR and Training objectives and support the needs of the organization for timely payroll, performance management, HR metrics, benefits and overall HRIS reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of managing HRIS systems (Ceridian Preferred)
  • Strong high-level understanding of policies & best practices in HR
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow through with urgency
  • Ability to prioritize and provide status reports on assignments

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field
  • Year for year experience in HRIS Support, documentation, and programming

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Must have excellent client skills with all internal and external customers
  • Strong sense of follow through
  • Excellent escalation of barriers to complete any duties

Computer Skills:

  • 5 years plus experience with Ceridian Dayforce
  • Intermediate to advance MS Excel Skills
  • Ability to create and automatically schedule reports in Ceridian
  • System integration experience (File, APIs)
  • Understanding of Payroll and Benefit Concepts
  • Experience with XML or XSLT

Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

  • PHR preferred

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Leading the continuous evaluation and evolution of HRIS systems
  • Stay abreast of all best practices in HRIS Systems

Primary Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Collaborates with HR Operations and other lines of business teams to provide support
  • Listening to internal customer’s needs and explaining complex technical issues and solutions in a plain and common descriptive manner
  • Maintain HRIS system and upgrades as needed
  • Managing request for process improvements, system enhancements, and the develop of new software applications
  • Able to work with consultants to install add on software as needed
  • Document all processes as it relates to making changes, changing status, etc. in HRIS system
  • Confirms accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintains data in HRIS systems and databases and assures information is available on a timely basis
  • Prepares reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations
  • Partnering with cross functional team members and IT Team Members on HRIS related issues/inquiries
  • Delivers routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests
  • Performs group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on any data discrepancies
  • Conducts data analysis on HR data such as compensation, classification, employment, employee relations, and/or benefits data as directed
  • Translating functional requirements into work breakdown structures
  • Prepare, maintain, and update employee data for the HR information system
  • Prepares data for and assists with HR audits
  • Overall understanding of all HR process and progress. HR Generalist experience a plus
