POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the administration of the corporate HRIS and employee benefit programs, including health and welfare plans, 401(k) and ESOP retirement plans. This position handles all functions related to employee benefit plans and programs, such as eligibility, communications and education, enrollment, systems and processes, compliance, and reporting requirements. This position is responsible to implement and maintain HRIS systems and workflow to provide efficient HR processes and data reporting.

Benefit Administration Responsibilities:

  • Administer corporate benefit plans and programs, including group insurances – medical, dental, vision, FSA, life – COBRA, disability, and wellness.
  • Administer the 401(k) retirement plan and the CFC ESOP, ensuring fiduciary compliance.
  • Develop and deliver employee communications and education materials, plan summaries, benefit statements and correspondence as it relates to benefit plans and programs.
  • Consult with members of the HR team and employees on questions or issues related to benefit eligibility, plan provisions, and claims.
  • Lead the open enrollment process, working with benefit vendors on plan renewals, system updates, carrier and payroll coordination, and assisting the HR department and employees with election processes.
  • Ensure that all benefit policies, procedures and plan documentation are current and assist in the preparation and timely filing of required plan testing, annual reports, and federal/state forms such as ACA and 5500s.
  • Review census data and provide to plan recordkeepers or brokers for renewal quotations.
  • Conduct data audits with HR, carriers, and payroll regularly to ensure accuracy of information and processes.
  • Review, and submit for payment, all benefit plans monthly invoices for accuracy and work with carriers to reconcile discrepancies.

HRIS Administration Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the corporate HRIS to ensure data accuracy, efficient system functionality, and automation of HR processes and programs.
  • Optimize the HRIS functions and provide support to meet HR department and workforce needs.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to track and measure KPI metrics related to recruitment, retention, benefits, and HR programs.
  • Design, manage and drive projects as needed to contribute to the HR team and to benefit employees and the organization.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or related Business Administration field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience in HRIS functions and data management.
  • Solid analytical skills and interpretive skills.
  • Organized and thorough with an attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer service orientation.
  • Professional writing and presentation skills with the ability to coach/educate others.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
