The Human Resources Department has a career opportunity for an Human Resource Representative in Wilmington, Delaware, to assist with the overall human resource and recruiting efforts of the Agency. Reporting to Human Resource Manager; provides support to the HR function in areas such as recruiting, employee relations, compliance, credentialing, and training.

Some of the typical duties include:

• Talent acquisition, sourcing, applicant tracking, onboarding and orientation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and gathering all related documentation and key details.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information to Benefits department.
• Assist with audits, compliance reviews and other mandatory reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.A. Degree in Personnel, Business or Public Administration or a closely related field preferred and at least 2 years of relevant experience in employment processes; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
• Experience working for a human services organization and not-for-profit is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and be available for regional travel.
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn employment laws and regulations.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

SCOPE:

• Required sitting for long periods of time.
• Frequent talking and listening.
• Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 25 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including some evening and or weekend hours.
