The Preferred Candidate: We are seeking an HR professional who is highly experienced in the daily operations of a human resource department. The qualified candidate must possess proficient to advance knowledge in the areas of talent recruitment, payroll, benefits, employee satisfaction and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and administrator employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, personnel changes, and leaves of absences
  • Support and maintain data integrity in HR systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Process payroll, including processing of expenses, commission, and bonus payouts
  • Partner with administration team to assist with recruiting through interview coordination
  • Own HR related reporting including headcount, recruitment, employee census, etc.
  • Reconciliation of billing and discrepancy reports from all supplemental plans.
  • Provide employment verifications for present and past employees upon request
  • Create and maintain electronic employee files
  • Support people programs involving employee experience, engagement, learning & development, performance management, recognition, and communication
  • Coordinates completion and submission of new injury reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for coaching and corrective actions
  • Provides guidance on and ensures compliance with Federal, State, Regional and Local laws and regulations regarding occupational safety and environmental health.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Experience and/or exposure to payroll processing and payroll related taxes
  • Must be technologically savvy to include HRIS, Excel.
  • A go-getter who can own a project with varying levels of instruction and run with it
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to be a team player
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking skills a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and empathize with others and anticipate, respond, and pivot to the needs of the employees and business
  • Customer service mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,101.00 - $125,933.00 per year
