Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Technician is a non-exempt position that will deliver exceptional customer service to our residential and commercial accounts. The employee will ensure the equipment and facilities promote proper functionality and safety. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and communication skills. This position reports to the Industrial Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Performs inspections to identify maintenance issues.
• Conducts equipment repairs.
• Responsible for equipment and supply delivery to work sites.
• Assist Grounds Maintenance and Construction as needed.
• Routinely maintains building maintenance duties including record keeping.
• Knowledgeable with high skilled testing, troubleshooting, disassembly, inspecting, precise measuring, repair and re-assembly of equipment and components.
• Able to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
• Identifies and report equipment abnormalities and safety hazards.
• Communicates with coworkers, supervisors, and all shop personnel regarding the maintenance and repair of equipment via notes, e-mail, or verbal communication.
• Completes record logs including labor, repairs made, equipment, and use of materials.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
• Snow removal.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred.
• Ability to communicate and read labels in English. (Bilingual a plus)
• Knowledge of basic safety rules & precautionary measures.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift/move heavy loads.
• Positive attitude and work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
