The Information Technology Manager, or here at Moda, we call this position the Manager IT Production Support BSA Manages all efforts of the IT production support business systems solutions department, including break fixes, system support, product upgrades, service requests, and enterprise project management projects. Provides leadership and direction to staff supporting information technology and the organization.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience and technical training.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare insurance industry, specifically in operational functions such as claims, membership, and/or customer service, with experience and understanding of healthcare insurance regulations.
  • 5+ years of management experience, managing people and/or large projects or product development and implementation.
  • Ability to develop and lead a high-functioning team, including hiring, goal setting, coaching, and career development.
  • Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize task assignments, for self and for the team, to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
  • Experience working within an information technology environment, including a strong understanding and support of the production deployment lifecycle and managing multiple work efforts in various test environments.
  • Experience in waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success at mentoring and developing key business analysis skills in analysis, problem-solving, business process development, and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand, translate and communicate technical and complex ideas and situations to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills from a business and technical perspective.
  • Proven critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to think out of the box and generate creative solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Project Management methodologies and project lifecycles.
  • Ability to work effectively within a production support team and in collaboration with IT leaders.
  • Has flexibility that allows effective teamwork with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to cope, adapt and thrive in a demanding environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities. This includes working on or overseeing multiple work efforts simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with business and technical personnel, with a customer service emphasis.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a professional business image.
  • Resilient work ethic, demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.

Salary Range:

  • $117141.76 - $134709.94 annually DOE
