A growing Tech company located just south of Downtown Denver is seeking an Interim Controller to join their team. This will be a 3+ month contract opportunity to assist with process designs and improvements. This is a fully remote position seeking a candidate in the Denver Metro. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $57 to $60 per hour.

Job Description:

• Prepare, execute and report financial plans
• Manage the financial statement close
• Analyze, review and report metrics
• Work with operations to support capital planning and capital expense requests
• Identify and lead process improvement projects
• Develop and mentor finance staff. Build bench strength to support organizational succession planning

Requirements:

• Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, graphs and data analysis;
• Excellent communication, influence, and collaborative leadership skills
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems to drive system and process improvements

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and solid experience in manufacturing accounting
• CPA and/or MBA a plus
