Job Description:

Liberty Mountain is looking for an early-career IT Help Desk Technician who can help employees with issues on their individual systems, as well as troubleshoot companywide issues. Experience in both PCs and Macs is required, and experience in networking will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose software and hardware problems and quickly resolve issues, whether PC or Mac.
• Prioritize issues that are logged and process through those in order of importance.
• Update systems with the latest patches and security updates.
• Resolve printing issues.
• Troubleshoot networking and downtime issues.
• Isolate performance issues to determine root causes for resolution.
• Communicate work accomplished and escalate any issues that cannot be quickly resolved.

Qualifications:

Technically speaking, candidates should have the following:

• Ability to independently solve varying tech support issues and research complex ones as needed.
• A deep understanding of both Mac and PC hardware and operating systems.
• At least one year of related experience, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Preferred: Familiarity with networking infrastructure, printers, Microsoft software, VPN software, Dynamics NAV, security, servers, remote desktop support, and SQL support.
