IT System Engineer – Level 2/3

This is a direct hire position with no involvement from staffing companies or third parties.

Job Description

This posting is for a direct-hire, permanent position for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) Located in Charlotte, NC. A full-time position for a level-2 or level-3 engineer who loves technology and has excellent troubleshooting skills. You will need to have reliable transportation and be able to work from multiple locations, including client sites, our office, and from home. Working hours are primarily from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, but after-hours and weekend work is often necessary and required.

Required Technical Skills

· Service, support, and implement various Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2012 and above, Remote Desktop Services, and MS 365.

· Basic understanding of hypervisor solutions, including ESXi and Hyper-V, with the ability to manage resources.

· Ability to troubleshoot basic network topology, at least to layer 3 of the OSI model.

· 1+ years of experience with remote support technologies. Kaseya VSA, BMS, and IT Glue are preferred.

· Must be able to communicate effectively with all org levels of clients

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Desire and ability to create and maintain proper and clear documentation

· Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in all situations
