What You’ll Do:

As a front-line face of the IT department at Youth Dynamics, the IT Technician aims to keep the technology of the agency in good working order and accessible to team members across the state. You will provide crucial support to team members by providing education on the IT systems that promote the safe usage of the IT infrastructure. Each day, you will face new challenges that provide an opportunity to use independent judgment in performing information technology assignments.

This position will be based in Billings, MT.

As an IT Technician at Youth Dynamics, your day-to-day will include tasks such as:

• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and recommend purchasing.
• Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
• Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
• Maintain records /logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedules.
• Operates other related equipment such as scanners, printers, multi-function machines., etc.
• Performs miscellaneous functions as required, including (but not limited to) calling vendors to report/resolve problems, assisting with demonstrations and site preparations, assisting in changing microcomputer location, and assisting electricians in determining necessary wiring changes.
• Assists with implementation and updates to the agency VoIP system.
• Provides backup support to IT Manager.

What You Will Receive from Us:

Starting Wage: $20.14/ hour to $21.15/ hour with regular wage increases and bonuses through your tenure.
