TITLE OF JOB: Sr. Project Manager-Apprentice
LOCATION: Boston, MA
SUMMARY:
A well-established Commercial & Residential Landscaping/Tree Removal & Irrigation company is seeking a talented professional Sr. Project Manager to be an apprentice to the current Founder/Owner of the business. This individual will be working with varying teams (Landscaping, Tree Removal, Irrigation and other related facilities and construction projects in and around the Boston Metro area. This person will work closely with the owner to shadow and learn all facets of the business to eventually become the leader of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr. Project Manager interacts directly or indirectly with all employees and customers including Finance,
Facilities, and Construction Management to provide consultation on complex projects that integrate into an organized program. Ensures the local Asset Services teams provide industry best-in-class relevant duties and deliverables. Holds local teams accountable through KPIs or other approved mechanisms.
REQUIREMENTS:
This person works closely with the Founder, contractors, sub-contractors, and other necessary professionals critical to successfully investigating, planning, engineering, designing, permitting, and constructing of development projects through project close-out.
EDUCATION:
Some college level experience is preferred or technical training and a minimum of 7-10 years of related experience.
