Reporting to the General Counsel, the Compliance Manager will lead the development of a company-wide compliance program through proactive risk identification and management. While fostering a culture of ethical business conduct, the manager will lead the navigation of regulatory frameworks as the company continues to grow and scale. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing legal and compliance function and play a key role in ITI’s continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and advice on the development, improvement, and maintenance of risk management programs.
  • Assess, measure, and maintain compliance with existing regulatory and third-party frameworks.
  • Research unique compliance issues impacting the company through review of applicable statutes, regulations, regulatory notices, etc.
  • Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies, procedures, and standards of conduct for the company and its activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop and/or implement corrective action plans for the timely resolution of problematic issues; and provide general guidance for avoiding or managing similar situations in the future.
  • Perform routine reviews to identify trends, unusual activity, suspicious activities, monitor large currency activity, and other actions necessary to maintain ITI’s payment facilitation program.


  • Assist with design and implementation of targeted and company-wide training materials and activities and monitor regulatory changes that affect training.
  • Institute and maintain an effective compliance communication program for the organization.
  • Collaborate with ITI’s Information Security Officer to ensure compliance with applicable privacy and cybersecurity law and regulations, as well as in periodic performance of compliance, privacy, and security risk gap assessments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution as needed.

Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience working with compliance teams covering broad risk areas (vendor management, anti-corruption, privacy, etc.), ideally in the tech industry.
  • Experience designing and implementing an effective, comprehensive compliance program, including drafting implementing policies and training programs across a wide range of compliance topics. Familiarity and expertise with risk and compliance management tools.
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD/LLM is desirable.

Certification

  • SCCE or similar certifications are beneficial.
