Job Summary

The Manager of IT Shared Services is responsible for overall IT Operations & Support, IT Infrastructure (Cloud and Onsite), Quality Assurance and DevOps,. The Manager of IT Shared Services is responsible for business outcomes, stability, scalability and employee engagement and effectiveness in each of these areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Coordinates and plans IT Shared Services activities for the department

· Defines IT Infrastructure Strategy and process

· Effectively Communicate technology concerns in business terms, including direct relevance to business objectives

· Assess new and existing vendor relationships

· Possesses strong problem-solving skills

· Effectively Manage one or budget cost centers

· Assesses defects and determines how they could be prevented

· Leads in daily stand-ups and other team meetings

· Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Is a result-driven individual and strategic thinker

· Is proactive, requiring minimal supervision, and highly organized

· Has the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

· Communicates effectively and simplifies complexity

· Works comfortably in a collaborative setting with company leadership

· Builds relationship with other departments and facilitates communications between stakeholders and engineers

· Is committed to departmental and company goals

Skills

· 10+ years of related experience in Information Technology operations

· Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent experience

· Experience supporting applications for cloud architectures such as AWS

· Experience with agile software development methodologies

· Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies

· Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems

· Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

· Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize

· Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
