Engineering Manager

JAG Mobile Solutions is an established custom trailer manufacturer with 16 years of successful focus on restroom, shower, and bunkhouse trailers used in special events and disaster relief. We are privately held with products sold worldwide. We also have a strong commitment to quality and customer service. We are team oriented and looking for an Engineering Manager to help us create top of the line luxury trailers.

The Engineering Manager will work in concert with all aspects of the organization to provide necessary support through various technical means. The primary method of support is CAD drawings and technical documentation in support of manufacturing. Additionally, the position will be integral in R&D, sales support, purchasing, and technical vendor communication.

Responsibilities include:

• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
• Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities
• Direct, review, and approve product designs and changes
• Develop new product designs
• Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department
• Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services

Qualifications required:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Proficiency with 3D modeling, experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Strong familiarity with industry standard processes, environments, tools, strategies, and best practices related to configuration management
• Understanding of material properties and limits
• Ability to effectively and accurately communicate orally and in writing
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or structural engineering
• 5+ years of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
