Manufacturing Engineer

PEM*,*Power Engineering & Mfg. Inc. is a small manufacturing company located in Blaine, MN. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with an aptitude for process improvements and quality systems. To be a successful member of our team you will utilize your skills and experience to create processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary goals as well as performance quotas.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for understanding product assembly, manufacturing processes, quality systems and able to perceive process improvements
• Support production through continuous process engineering, problem solving, and warranty reduction.
• Document technical data using accepted engineering documentation practices (drawings, BOM, test reports, procedures, etc.).
• Responsibility of all technical documentation, specifications, quality and required data for all assigned projects and manufacturing processes.
• Work closely, and in partnership, with the management team to ensure that manufacturing, supply chain and customer needs are anticipated and met.

Position Requirements:

• BS in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3-5yrs experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge in rotating assemblies, power transmissions, gearing, bearings, fits, finishes, geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
• Experience with CAD programs, Solidworks is a plus.
• Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s)
• Ability to develop and update Bills of Materials
• Need to have the ability to facilitate a new product from engineering to production
• Must be able to predict task time requirements and meet deadlines
• Willingness to do hands on type work and other tasks as necessary
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

Pay: $56,815.64 - $108,098.86 per year
