DCI Job Requirement for: Software Engineer

Location: APG, MD

Job Description:

• Serve as a Software Engineer supporting capability convergence of PM MC SW/systems

• Lead systems engineering reviews of: systems requirements, software design, interface control documents (ICDs), & Interface Description Documents (IDDs)

• Lead systems architecting processes for design solutioning, interoperability across platforms and echelons, & other operational challenges

• Define requirements and create conceptual models

• Perform software and system analysis as part of a robust research and development effort

• Work with stakeholders including Product Managers, Lead Engineers, and external organizations to assist with new technology assessment and integration

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT discipline

• 3+ years’ experience with Software Engineering

• 2+ years’ experience with systems of systems design and implementation

• Working knowledge of the following: C5ISR Systems, Agile Development, Military Messaging (MIL-STD-6017x, JREP C), Commercial Messaging Standards, Cloud Computing Technologies (AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud), & Big Data Analytics

• Understanding of DevSecOps concepts a plus

• Understanding of Machine Learning concepts a plus

Active DoD SECRET Clearance
