Proper is a rapidly growing insurance provider, specializing in short-term rental insurance policies for Airbnb and Vrbo hosts.

We are looking for a Marketing Assitant to join our marketing team. You will work directly with our Marketing Director and Marketing Coordinator to help expand our reach and grow our brand. Your main responsibilities include campaign building, producing and implementing content across all channels, and monitorinig social media growth. Our ideal candidate is a marketing generalist, able to interpret customers’ behavior, suggest creative ways to increase brand awareness, and reinforce our position as thought leaders in our space. If you have excellent communication skills a passion for lead generation and content marketing, we want to meet you. Ultimately, you will help ensure our company’s marketing efforts maximize our ability to achieve immediate and long-term business goals.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with marketing to develop and implement blog, email, social media, website, digital media strategy and manage execution on each channel.
• Write succinct, engaging copy that captures our brand’s voice for various funnels, blogs, email, and social content.
• Monitor content performance and deliver recommendations to optimize and enhance upcoming content calendars and campaigns.
• Assist with email marketing copy, design, audience segmentation, data reporting, and mailing list coordination.
• Assist in managing all social media channels. Posting and gathering organic social media content. Experience creating attractive posts with value to our target audience is essential.
• Plan meetings and trade shows, maintain databases and prepare reports.
• Execute and monitor outreach campaigns, generating leads across multiple funnels.
• Stay up to date on industry and competitive trends in addition to new digital technologies and social media best practices.

Skills

• 1-3 years digital marketing experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent multitasking skills and creative mindset.
• A deep understanding of how to use social media for brands across multiple social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Clubhouse, etc.)
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office and WordPress. Experience with WordPress, and email marketing platforms a plus. Adobe CS (PS, AI, ID) experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. Basic on/off-page SEO understanding preferred.
• Strong work ethic, love of testing, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s in Advertising, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Must be a team player and have a willingness to learn, grow, and help out where needed
