Responsibilities:

• Write marketing copy for print and digital materials.
• Help recruit prospective customers through marketing language on all organization and business lead web pages, including descriptions of all programs.
• Write and edit stories for LinkedIn and HERB marketing updates: conduct research and interviews within organization; prepare drafts for editorial approval; and finalize copy.
• Produce content for other formats, e.g., video scripts, speeches, programs, and advertisements.
• Draft and adapt messages for a variety of audiences.
• Build relationships with organization constituents to generate content ideas for thought leadership platform and the web.

Who You Are

• Someone with exceptional web writing skills including writing for social media and search engine optimization.
• Knowledge of banking marketing and communications practices a plus
• Knowledge of Content Marketing best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Marketing Communications or equivalent of education and experience
• 2+ years' experience in planning Social Media Programs that span owned, earned, and paid preferred
• 2+ years’ experience script writing/press releases

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Heartland Bank’s total compensation package for employees.
