This is an on-site position (Neosho, MO)

The Marketing Manager is the member of the Marketing team with primary responsibility for building and maintaining the brand, content development, and development and implementation of campaigns to support sales growth and projects and initiatives. Responsibility also includes creating marketing materials, managing marketing data, reporting, and supporting the marketing efforts in a variety of projects.

1. Participate in sourcing outside vendors providing marketing tactical expertise such as content development, digital marketing, PR, advertising, research, creative design, website support, etc. Direct and manage assignments for vendors as needed for various projects, ensuring their work is in accordance with the project specs and deadlines.

2. Oversee development of marketing materials, in coordination with sales and marketing teams. Manage timelines, develop new materials, ensure timely delivery, edit and/or optimize materials, as needed. Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines.

3. Analyze on a continual basis and ensure marketing and sales messages are supportive of and consistent with brand messaging and marketing strategies.

4. Assist with development of an annual tactical marketing plan, including budgets, measurements for success, etc.

5. Assist with demo and technical support videos produced in-house.

6. Plan and coordinate trade show participation and special events.

7. Oversee and maintain the marketing calendar and manage project budgets.

8. Prepare and present marketing reports.

9. Collecting and summarizing competitive pricing reports based on vertical market product categories.

10. Manage the production of digital and print content that is consistent with brand voice including blog posts, newsletters, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics etc.

11. Manage social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

12. Develop and execute thought leadership program (speaking opportunities, trade shows, etc.

13. Marketing writing, marketing research, and publications printing. This position requires the frequent use of a wide range of media production capabilities.

14. Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

15. Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

16. Perform other tasks and duties as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates at Marco Group, Inc., in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as printers, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required sit for long periods of time, repetitive arm/hand/wrist movement or typing/keyboard use. The employee be able to talk, hear, and frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, or lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time Position / Employee must be available in the office during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work a minimum of 40 hours each week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Must be on property at Marco Group headquarters.

Travel
Minimal travel is expected for this position, at approximately 5%-10%.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent of four years of Marketing experience.

2. Excellent in Microsoft Office skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various other applications

3. Strong understanding of and demonstrated experience in implementing marketing tactics to achieve objectives.

4. Experience as a strong communicator, collaborative partner and self-starter who is proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects with hard deadlines.

5. A passion and strong understanding of our industry and our business' mission.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Some experience working within cross-functional teams and a mix of internal and external team members is ideal.

2. Strong communicator and creative thinker, comfortable with interfacing with many different constituents.

3. Strong understanding of and ability to collaborate with sales teams to ensure collaboration and mutual results between marketing and sales.

4. Excellent organizational skills to work independently to produce polished and professional deliverables and manage projects with many moving parts.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

1. Must have an analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale marketing tactics.

2. Demonstrable initiative, creativity, flexibility, and persistence.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be eligible to work in the United States
