Westamerica Bank is seeking a Marketing Project Coordinator for the Marketing department. This is a full-time onsite position located at the corporate offices in Fairfield, California. Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, this position supports the Marketing Department in the execution of the Bank’s marketing, communication and sales functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support for all Marketing departmental activities.
• Provide general support to the Product Management team with the promotion of bank products and services.
• Provide general support to the Community Relations manager with the bank’s fundraising and corporate donations activities.
• Performs general administrative duties including but not limited to invoice processing, branch distributions, filing, answering incoming calls from branches, vendors and other bank departments.
• Responsible for the compilation and processing of monthly and quarterly production, incentive and tracking reports.
• Responsible for the event management of the company-wide employee recognition event.
• Responsible for maintaining the departmental budget report and associated files.
• Track and control inventory of product collateral, promotional material and departmental supplies.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Word.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and effectively multi-task in a demanding environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Requires physical demands: standing for long periods, walking, stooping, overhead stretching and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Event planning experience a plus.
• Experience with the Touché Analyzer MCIF database or similar customer information database.
• One to three years of experience in a marketing department in a mid-size or large company, preferably in a financial services environment.
