We are looking for skilled Medical Assistants to join our fast-paced practice with a polished and happy demeanor, who is self-motivated. You will perform clinical tasks as well as some administrative tasks. Clinical duties include taking patient medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician and/or physician assistant during examinations and procedures. Cosmetic and/or General Dermatology experience required.

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Room patients, obtain and document patient history
• Assist physician or physician assistant in examinations and procedures
• Answer phone calls, respond to patient questions and take messages
• clean and package instruments
• Send prescriptions
• Fill out and log lab requisitions for all specimens
• Maintain patient flow
• Prep patient for cosmetic or dermatologic procedures
• Review all pre/post operative and aftercare instructions
• Perform well in environment that values helpfulness, patience, and resourcefulness
• Assist in other functions as needed for the practice
