Alicat’s products are found across the globe in applications pushing the boundaries of science and technology, including CERN, NASA, alternative energy manufacturers, laboratories, and universities.

Our quickly growing multidisciplinary team is always looking for high performing, empathetic individuals to expand our capabilities and help us maximize the value we provide to our customers. We are currently in need of a software engineer to help maintain our internal ERP system and meet the increasing demands of a global user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the improvement and upkeep of our internal web applications and APIs
• Work directly with stakeholders in multiple global locations to analyze requirements and design software solutions
• Collaborate with our development team to build, test, deploy, and maintain code

Required Education/Experience

• 2+ years of experience in C# and ASP .NET
• Strong experience in T-SQL, MS SQL Server, Query Optimization
• Strong familiarity in software engineering best-practices, patterns, and anti-patterns
• Experience with databases modeling and ORM frameworks
• Experience with Web Technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Agile software development practices
• Experience with contemporary software DevOps practices
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ)

• Self-motivated, fast-moving, and autonomous
