We are looking for dedicated and passionate veterinarians relocating or living in the Detroit area.

Not only will you have a flexible, non-emergency and no weekend work schedule but you will be based in a city regarded as a major cultural centre, known for its contributions to music and as a repository for art, architecture and design offering you plenty of ways to spend your free time.

Job Summary:

We have a unique opportunity for you to work as a mobile Veterinarian, where you will provide Veterinary care to your clients in their own homes, where the client and the pets are often calmer and more easy-going.

The excellent team comprises of a large team of Veterinarians, Vet Technicians as well as a sophisticated admin team who will support you with your planning and scheduling. This focus on admin will allow you to purely focus on providing veterinary care and building client relationships.

You'll be dealing with no more than six visits per day, and you'll have accessibility to an advanced routing system that has pre-planned your routes and appointments to minimize stress and complications in scheduling your day. You'll work no more than 40 hours each week and have no weekend or emergency shift responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Be confident in general practice with preventative care, small animal companion care, microchipping
• Work primarily with small animals (feline & canine)
• Enjoy client interactions and client education
• Have the independence and confidence to provide a nose to tail exam in a home setting
• Believe in preventative medicine (vaccination, parasitic prevention, and nutritional support)
• Have a positive, upbeat personality with all patients and their families!

Key Skills Required

• An ideal candidate is outgoing and able to easily connect and communicate with patients and team members alike.
• Passionate about providing high levels of clinical care.
• Minimum of 2+ years clinical experience
• A Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited university
• State Veterinary Board Licensed and must be in good standing
