Molding Engineer

Location: York, PA

Job Description

• Serves as a Molding Engineer
• Provides technical support for process development and quality criteria
• Perform final Design of Molds for operational excellence
• Participate in tool and process examinations such as:
• FMEA
• Process flow
• Control Plans
• Participate in Process Parameter development
• Ensure equipment and processes are:
• Safe/comply to industry standards
• Capable of consistently producing quality products
• Design improvements to existing equipment and processes

Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related
• 5+ years of experience with Design of Mold
• 3+ years of experience manufacturing Electrical Connectors
• Specifically in Medical, Automotive and Data Industries
• 3+ years of experience with Solid works or 3D modeling
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485
• Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (i.e., APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc.)

Salary: $80,000-110,000

• 8 hour shift

• molding engineering/design: 5 years (Preferred)
• electrical connector manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
• solid works/3D modeling: 3 years (Preferred)
• AIAG Core Tools: 2 years (Preferred)
