One of California's largest women’s health organizations is looking for a Part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Sacramento team, providing the highest quality family planning and gynecology services to patients throughout CA.

FPA Women’s Health provides full spectrum diagnostic, preventive and reproductive health services to more than 150,000 patients a year throughout the state of California. Our 30+ highly skilled and experienced Gynecologists and Advanced Practitioners deliver sensitive, compassionate and patient centered care and education through 25+ care centers, many in rural and under-served communities. The Nurse Practitioner provides specialized nursing services in women's health care, family planning, and abortion procedures. They deliver patient care utilizing the medical model to assess, plan, implement and evaluate outcomes as related to family planning and surgical needs including abortion services. Services also include administration of medication abortion up to ten weeks, ultrasounds, birth control counseling, annual exams, pap smears, IUC placements, Nexplanon placements, infection checks/treatment, LEEP's, biopsies, and more.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A valid and current California license as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current Furnishing license
• Current ACLS certification is required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Some experience in women's health care is preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Perform all tasks accurately and with attention to detail.
• Possess a professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to relate to diverse communities.
• Possess a warm and caring manner.
• Protect the confidentiality and security of patient information and adhere to HIPPA regulations.
