High Desert Medical Group has an opening for a Part-timePhysician Assistant and Nurse Practitionerto join our team in Lancaster and Palmdale, CA (open to new graduates). We are seeking providers who practice medicine with excellent patient care and customer service. We focus on making sure our providers have a sufficient amount of time to address the patient's needs in a friendly environment.
High Desert Medical Group has been providing excellent medical care for 40 years and is very well respected in the community. General Position Details
- Complete Annual Wellness Exams at our office as well as some home/custodial visits
- Assist in closing quality care gaps (screenings and labs)
- Comprehensive training
- 24 hours a week Monday through Friday 8 am-5 pm
- Nurse, medical assistant and front office staff support team
- Opportunity to float into other departments (Urgent Care/Clinic)
- No after hour call
Specific to Urgent Care Providers Only
- 1 Year of Urgent Care or Emergency Experience
- Must be able to see all ages
- 12 hour shifts
- Rotating Holidays and Weekends

Pay Range: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 Exempt
Requirements:Requirements
- Current Certified California Nurse Practitioner or Current Certified California Physician Assistant
- NP Only: Current California RN License
- NP Only: Current California Furnishing Number
- Current CA DEA certificate (including schedule II) required prior to start date
- CA Driver's license active and in good standing
- Current BLS
- MPI
- Fluent or proficient Medical Spanish is preferred but not required
- Must have excellent communication skills and bed side manner
