Job Description :
The Nurse Specialist in the outpatient pulmonary clinic reports to the Nurse Manager . Under general supervision, the Nurse Specialist provides goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Minimum Education/Experience
Graduation from state-accredited school of registered nursing and two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in the assigned specialty area. Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
License or Certification required by statute or regulation
State of North Carolina Registered Nursing License
