Job Description :

Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking a Operations Analyst for one of their clients, a well-known Medical Manufacturer, based out of Englewood, Colorado. This is a full-time direct hire position and pays 50K- 65K (depending on experience).

Background check is required upon hire.

Job Description:

As a Data Analyst you will be conducting complete analysis of the value of past and future healthcare costs with consideration of medical coding compliance. You will interpret medical bills and records to prepare, analyze, and develop reportable, substantiated evaluation of medical coding compliance and correlating billed charges. This position will also monitor performance and quality control processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

Job Duties:

  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
  • Acquire and understand applicable medical documentation to extract previous charges or build future treatment packages for analysis.
  • Investigate missing components of data to determine and carryout additional processes.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients through report status updates, prompt responsiveness, and consistent outreach.
  • Frequent phone communication with paralegals and attorneys reviewing medical coding compliance and analysis results.
  • Research and implement all medical coding guidance.
  • Process, generate and edit documents at non-expert and expert levels.
  • Maintain and update internal program components.
  • Utilize client feedback and expert experiences to adjust and improve systems and products.
  • Collaborate in development of new products, subscription services, and network growth.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns within complex medical data.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCA, or CCS) with 3+ years of professional medical coding experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with medical billing and coding.
  • Knowledge of data management and visualization tools with the ability to intuitively present information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive mindset.
  • Detail and deadline oriented.
  • Great organization skills in documentation and prioritization.
  • Constructive contribution to the team; respectful and supportive of colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Efficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
