Operations Manager
Responsibilities

Assists the Production Manager responsible for the operation of an assigned area in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, technical application(s), safety, and human resources, while focusing on defined goals

Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within operations and ensures company's targets, objectives, and customer requirements are met
-
Strives for continuous improvement by using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve production, and promote quality
-
Plans and executes the production schedule while providing supervision and direction to production team leaders and operators
-
Allocates resources to ensure minimum downtime and the completion of scheduled activities through prioritizing and managing team's workload
-
Conducts safety and onboarding training with new employees
-
May include some people management and reporting requirements in addition to machinery setup and basic programming
-
Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment

Leads by example and line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while developing employees, driving Talent Acquisition and Management processes, and fostering a proactive work culture
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
