Novak Francella LLC is a leader in the field of compliance audits for multi-employer benefit funds. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Boston, MA Payroll Compliance Audit Staff.

Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to conduct compliance audits to ensure employers are making the appropriate contributions to their respective benefit fund plans (Health, Pension, Annuity, 401K) in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreements. The Payroll Compliance Auditor should be able to perform accurate and thorough compliance audits for Clients in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. This is an entry-level position that requires travel in the Boston and New England area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Obtain general understanding of Employer-Union Benefit obligations under various collective bargaining agreements.

· Schedule and perform reviews at employer’s locations.

· Compare payroll documentation to benefit fund reports to confirm contributions were made correctly.

· Expand and prepare a report for any exceptions in an Excel Format

Skills/Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent bookkeeping experience recommended

· Bookeeping and/or payroll experience a plus

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Good decision making and analytical skills

· Bookkeeping and/or payroll experience a plus

· Candidates must have a car

• Hybrid Schedule (3 days per week in office/client, 2 days remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
