Pediatric Occupational Therapist (WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA)- Remote or in-person

Our team houses pediatric speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and occupational therapy assistants.
Purpose-driven, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable pediatric occupational therapists (OTR/L) are invited to apply to join our team! Our family-based therapy style is extremely unique in that we include parents in all of our sessions! Work with us in encouraging, partnering, and teaching caregivers how to carry-over activities into the home environment!

Requirements:
VA/WV state license for Occupational Therapy (or willing to obtain)
At least one-year experience in a pediatric setting is preferred, but not required
Positive, Compassionate personality
CPR certification
CE Maintenance annually
AOTA member preferred
Excellent written and verbal skills, attention to detail
Desire to work with early intervention and school aged children.
Proficient computer skills and/or familiar with online documentation systems.
Responsibilities:
Serve a caseload of children and their families with a wide range of disabilities and disorders. Knowledge/Experience working with the following diagnoses: autism, down syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing disorder
**Supervision of OT students and COTAs
Communicate patient progress with supervisor and parents weekly
Attend team meetings
Attend team community-based projects/ activities
Assess new patients with Beery VMI, PDMS, BOT-2, SPM, Sensory Profile
Prefer employee has familiarity with the Zones of Regulation/experience with emotional regulation interventions, feeding experience, sensory integration/behavior
