This is a fulltime position. 32+ hours a week.

The permits inspector will review all permits and make sure they comply with the rules and regulations and are within compliance established by the Board of Covenants and Restrictions.

The permits inspector will make sure the proposed lot improvements are marked properly and conforms to the building offset of property lines.

The permits inspector will monitor and follow-up on all construction. Fill out and hang the permits, update the database, print reports for security and management.

Must have a clear understanding of the Covenants and Restriction of the Goose Creek Subdivision as they apply to the building and construction of the community. All rules established by the Trustees must be reviewed, understood, and applied to each situation correctly.

Good data entry skills and written skills are a must.

Must know how to read a GPS and follow a system.

Must have good communication skills to be able to discuss any issues with the Property Owners and/or their contractors, government officials and Trustees.

Communicate with the Trustees, Property Owners and members of management on emergency issues.

Make reports and attend meetings.

Requires adequate understanding of Microsoft Office programs and use of the Internet.

Good management skills as well as organizational skills and leadership skills.

Must be physically able to traverse rough terrain and all-weather conditions.

Must be able to read and understand measurements.
