The Medication Safety Officer provides oversight of the medication safety program at St Charles hospitals and clinics. As a member of the health system pharmacy leadership team, this position will work with pharmacy, nursing, medical providers, and information systems to help improve the medication use process through collaboration, communication, and on-going process improvement initiatives. This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.

Minimum Requirements

• Education- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Licensure - Current license or eligibility to be licensed as Pharmacist by Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience - Five (5) years clinical practice in a hospital or health system, OR completion of PGY-2 residency in medication safety or hospital administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67.60 - $82.82 per hour
