The incumbent in this position is responsible for treating and providing direct medical care to ambulatory patients at the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Hollywood, Immokalee, Big Cypress and Brighton clinic facilities under direction and responsibility of the Staff Physician. Diagnoses diseases, conditions and illnesses; prescribes the appropriate type of medications, vaccinations, therapies and treatments. Counsels, guides and educates patients, parents or consented guardians. Refers patients requiring specialized care to appropriate facilities and/or practitioners.

Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science or Medical Science is required. Master’s Degree is highly preferred. Completion of the PANCE exam administered by National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) possess a Physician Assistant license/certification active in the State of Florida. A minimum of three (3) to (5) years of postgraduate experience in an ambulatory, acute care or private practice is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
