Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

• Deliver quality, value-based, outcome-driven preventive health care
• Diagnose & treat acute and chronic medical problems
• Coordinate care with other providers and specialists, as needed

• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion
• Comply with medical care regulations and safety standards

Skills & Requirements of the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

• Compassion, empathy and self-awareness
• Ability to multi-task, think critically, and find solutions to any problem
• Strong leadership and effective communication skills
• At least 1 year of experience as a PCP responsible for managing chronic & acute medical problems as well as initiating medications and other interventions to manage such problems
