Our company is searching for a Powder Coatings Engineer to lead technical projects within the coatings and finishing department.

In this role you will work to:

• Lead material and process development projects in the coating’s technical competency area.
• Manage projects surrounding paints and coatings technology and process development to be implemented across multiple sites.
• Provide technical support, and perform various duties to maintain daily operations as well as long-term operational improvements.
• Test and validate new materials in production.
• Stay current with industry technology developments and explore their use in our facilities.
• Serve as a coatings technical contact for manufacturing partners, internal and external.
• Identify and implement process improvements that reduce the operating costs.

Your prior experience should include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Highly technical skills with powder coatings, decorative coatings, paint, and/or finishing applications.
• 5+ years of experience in high speed, high volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
• Project management experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
