Kodak is looking for a Process/Equipment (Mechanical) Engineer. This position will be part of a team that operates a large production-scale manufacturing facility at the Eastman Business Park in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with manufacturing processes using web conveyance, drying, and winding technology.

Basic Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and skills in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, measuring and improving equipment performance and reliability.
• Work closely with Process Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to develop, implement and sustain preventative and predictive maintenance processes and procedures.
• Work with engineering and maintenance resources to plan and execute maintenance and capital improvement projects.
• Identify equipment spare and strategic parts inventory, define replacement and lifetime cycles for optimal overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and cost control.
• Apply continuous improvement tools to reduce unplanned downtime
• Provide and maintain standard operation procedures, technical drawings, system drawing, schematics, workflows and P&ID documentation
• Drive efforts to understand and improve process reliability and performance

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years manufacturing experience
• Understanding of manufacturing processes controls and systems
• Background in maintenance and process and equipment engineering
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (cause/effect)
• Good team player and willing to learn
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on diverse, cross functional teams
• Good written and verbal communication
• Web conveyance experience (preferred):

- Roll to roll manufacturing processes
- Electro-mechanical systems
- Process control and reliability

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
