Our Massachusetts client is seeking a highly skilled Product Applications Trainer with a passion for providing tailored solutions for customers to join their handheld laser product team. As a Product Applications Trainer, you will be working with state of the art handheld laser processing technology to train and support our client facilities, customers, and their partners. The ideal candidate is an experienced welder, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is customer focused, highly organized, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our client is willing to look at all interested individuals with a high technical aptitude and desire to learn.

This is an onsite, direct hire role with benefits and a salary range of $90-100k annually.

Responsibilities

 Conduct trainings in person and over web-based mediums.

 Execute product introduction and training activities at IPG subsidiary, partner, and customer locations.

 Provide expert support in solving customer problems.

 Support program to maintain and expand relationships with existing partners.

 Identify new customer requirements and develop specifications to drive new product features.

 Collaborate with marketing team to drive the creation of new training and applications content.

 Demonstrate handheld laser product solutions at IPG locations, partner locations, trade shows, and conferences.

 Work with partners and end users to ensure they are demonstrating the system in a safe and effective manner.

 Support product documentation creation.

 Help to identify the root causes of issues affecting reliability, performance, and safety of the laser product.

Experience

 Engineering degree is preferred, but candidates with significant experience in a similar role will be considered

 Experience with industrial welding applications

 Experience with industrial lasers, accessories, and related diagnostic equipment a plus

 Candidates should be outgoing and comfortable giving presentations on welding and technical material

 Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

 Strong technical, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

 Comfortable working independently without supervision with a goal-oriented structure

 Flexibility to handle multiple, changing priorities

 Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time. Primarily domestic travel with the ability to travel internationally

 Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

 Electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills with high and low voltage equipment is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
