Job Description :

Responsible for planning and overseeing GSI Outdoors Product Development to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within scope. Project Manager will coordinate with Product Design and Engineering, Graphic designers, Marketing, Sales and Purchasing team as necessary. Responsible for product QC/QA programs to meet worldwide regulatory standards. Some travel required to visit Strategic suppliers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress using standard timeframes for design, development, prototyping and manufacturing with factories
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for projects
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Coordinate internal resources for the execution of projects and communicate to all stakeholders
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders concerning schedule pinch point
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Manage the engineering change process from collections of initial request & approval to the final implementation in production
  • Facilitate interdepartmental workflow.
  • Support cost saving initiative projects through project management
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of project management experience required
  • Ability to Travel required (Valid Passport)
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial and highly creative/energetic
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong teamwork mindset
  • Must be independently motivated and able to work without detailed direction
  • Detail oriented, analytical, organized and objective
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ensure work is completed in the time frame required
  • Continuous improvement mindset is a must
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with individuals throughout all levels of the organization and customers alike
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams) and Wrike

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
