What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will interpret orders and transcribes or verifies them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.

• You will accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.

• You will sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing non-formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic interchanges and promotes rational drug therapy selection

• You will provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.

• You will provide basic technical support for automated dispensing machines and other pharmacy computer systems.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy is required.

• One year of hospital experience is required.

• Residency training or board certification is preferred.

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.

• TSBP is required.

• ACPE IV certification is required.
