Job Summary
This Foodbuy Product Manager position, reporting into the Senior Director of Product Management in the Foodbuy Projects organization, offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to impactful enterprise-wide business initiatives through the management of multiple technology products. A successful candidate will define and support the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet strategic business goals. They will partner with stakeholders to define customer needs and develop the Program Vision, Roadmap, and Features required to meet these needs. This position is based in our Charlotte, NC office, but can be remotely located as well.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the product landscape and understand our customers to identify, quantify, and effectively communicate product roadmap opportunities
- Own, maintain, and prioritize product roadmaps and feature backlogs
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, UX, Architecture and other delivery team members to build products that are user centric and provide a quality experience
- Collaborate with other product managers to ensure alignment across products
- Get the product "off the shelf" with business stakeholders and delivery teams and ensure it is supported
- Build strong internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the product including, stakeholders, delivery teams, members, and clients
- Develop and execute customer centric product management planning and documentation, including the product roadmap, stakeholder mapping, customer journey and empathy mapping, and personas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required
- 2+ years work-related product management or equivalent experience
- Experience in design, development and implementation of product plans
- Experience in working with a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with various levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Proven business analytical capabilities to solve complex business issues
- Travel as needed (less than 25%)
