Yankon Lighting (www.yankon-lighting.com) is seeking a CategoryManager near Mooresville, North Carolina area. This position will be responsible to manage Yankon Lighting Mooresville related products and support the key account. The position will develop & define new business opportunities, support existing business, maintain strategic business relationship with the customer, and provide timely communication with headquarter.

Essential Duties:

Maintain, develop and grow the business relationship with the key customer. Everyday account management and follow up on customer’s requests.

Identify or propose potential new business deals by contacting potential partners. Discovering and exploring new business opportunities.

Grow new business by actively collecting customers’ new requirements, pre-sale and promoting Yankon’s new products to key customers based on market trend.

Timely provide customers’ requests to factory. Investigate problems, develop solutions, prepare reports, and make recommendations to account manager/HQ.

Coordinates existing sales effort by following up with different departments from customers and factory such as marketing, sales management, logistics and technical service group.

Proactively keep track on North America lighting industry trend. Provide timely market feedback and report to factory.

Requirements:

Business or electrical engineering background

Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

Self-motivated and strong self-starter

Excellent skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Prefer previous working experience in purchasing/sales. Familiar with industrial standard logistics and purchasing system. Chinese language speaking is preferred.

Required experience: Market, sales, buyer: at least 5 years

Required education: Bachelors

Language requirement: English
